We had a wonderful time at this year’s expo. Although it is a small event, there is plenty of information and samples available. Plus, with a smaller event, you get to talk to the vendors/presenters longer than at the events that are packed wall-to-wall with attendees!
I met some great people – both vendors and guests – and learned a lot (like that there’s a Mellow Mushroom coming to Blacksburg, VA!)
It was great to see the Ginger Lemon Girl, Carrie Forbes, once again (and we bought one of her books — and got it signed!). If you haven’t met her, or haven’t checked out her blog, you really need to do so. I have many of her recipes bookmarked (like Pomegranate Molasses, which I can’t wait to try!).
They are always looking for vendors too; if you think you have something worth sharing at their next event, you should check out this page.
This is one event to which I will always return.
