Always check the date of the review or date which the bakery or restaurant sent me a reply. Keep in mind that companies change ingredients and suppliers regularly, and some restaurants have high-turnover, so a meals and restaurants which were safe one-two years ago may not be safe now. It never hurts to double-check with a bakery or restaurant on your own, especially if the place you are interested in is one which never carried a gluten free label and/or certification.
